Peachy Smokey Eye Makeup Tutorial Part 1

Holaaa and happy ied mubarak for you who celebrate it!! How was your holiday? I know some of you maybe still on a vacation mode or maybe already get back to reality work. First day back to work never easy, i know. But hey, cheer up! At least you have job ;P. I'm also back from my holiday as a rookie blogger and i have a simple day to night eye makeup tutorial for you makeup beginner. Yes you ladies!;)

The first thing i learned about makeup is an eye makeup, especially from asian eye makeup. I always love how detail and how drastic it could change people's face. Not all asian girls are blessed with big eyes and double eyelid and We generally also don't have deep set eyes with crease. But that won't stop us become beautiful doll. I'm sure you have seen a lot of asian girls with small eyes turned themselves into beautiful big eyed doll-like girls through makeup, right?

By the way, do you know that 40% of your face impression is determined by your eyes? This is the reason why when you see girls who played a lot with their eye makeup like korean and japanese celebrities and see them without makeup they look really different. Like a different person. So if you're able to mastered eye makeup, the rest is just gonna be a history!

For this look i choose warm range of colors such as peach, brown, and gold. This colors look great for Indonesian girls who mostly have a warm skin tone without look too done up.

Before eye makeup, i already did my base (Vitacreme B12 as a moisturizer, Etude House Beauty Shot Face Blur as a primer, Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream as foundie, Wardah Double Function Kit as a concealer for my panda eyes and lightly tap Trisia Cosmetics Natural White Loose Powder in Peach White all over my face).

Plz forgive the inconsistent size or blurry pic of my eyes here. Taking a picture using 11 mp with blitz and mirror in the middle of the night is never easy.
  1. For a total drastic eye-look change, i recommend you to put on a circle lenses. And remember to put them on first before you put any eye makeup.
  2.  Apply peachy matte eyeshadow all over your eyelid. I'm using blush as an eyeshadow (SariayuPemulas Pipi in Apokayan). The key to apply eyeshadow is to make sure it blended well and you don't leave any harsh significant edges with your bare skin around the eyeshadow.
  3. Don't forget to apply the same color on your lower lash line too.
  4. Now, apply a lil bit of matte brown eyeshadow (LT Pro Perfecting Eye Color Refill in EM 03) only in the inner corner and outer corner of your eyelid to add depth to your eyes. You can apply it using your small pinky finger or the smallest eyeshadow applicator you have. Blend it towards your crease line.
  5. With the same eyeshadow in the fourth step, apply it on your lower lid only in the 1/3 outer corner. Blend it.
  6. Now tightline your eyes using dark brown eyeliner pencil (Maybelline Eyestudio Master Liner in Brown). Tightlining is a little magic that asian girls used to do to make their eyes look bigger and their lashes look thicker without being seen. Hehehe.. that's confusing way to describe it i'm sorry. I mean tightlining is a technique to apply eyeliner only in the roots of lashes or even on the upper water line. It makes people guesing whether you're wearing eyeliner or not. This technique is perfect for girls who have small eyelid like me or even girls who don't have double eyelid.
Okay, so that was the basic and we're heading into the final four steps of your daily makeup now. You can always stop in the 6 step and add some mascara and brows if you want, but, if you want a little bit of drama, let's keep going!

Kitten Flick
  1. Add a kitten flick with brown gel liner (Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner in 02 Brown) only on the end of your eyes. Just find the end of your eyes and pull a line upwards. Makes sure the line is thicker on the bottom and thin and sharp on the upper part. Easy peasy right! ;)
  2.  Once you apply mascara on the upper and lower lashes, people won't notice where your kitten flick liner started. So don't worry about it. This is the technique where you can do cat eyeliner while your small eyelid still visible. If you have small eyes or small eyelid, do this!
  3. Almost done! I used gold stick eyeshadow (Beyond Angel Snow Stick Eye Shadow in number 02) only on the inner corner of my eyes.
  4. Lastly, don't forget your eyebrows to frame your beautiful eyes. And you're done! Yay!!
I paired this look with peach blush that i used as an eyeshadow before. And of course a pouty peachy gradient pink lips. (My favourite Sariayu Senandung Rimba Sumatera Lipstick in Toba 02 on the whole lips and gradate it with Purbasari Matte Lipstick in Jade 89 on the inner part of the lips).

Please ignore my peach fuzz lol

Enjoy your beautiful daily look by taking a beautiful selfie. Or maybe you can wear this look to hangout or maybe go to an afternoon party.

I wonder why the blush didn't show up... hmmm... i look pale af...

So where do you think you're gonna wear this look to? Please leave a comment below. If you think this eye makeup is not heavy enough to go to a special occasion, no need to worry. with a few additional steps using eyeliner and false lashes you can turn this look into a Night Look, which i'm gonna post on my next blog post. That's why make sure to visit next time! ;)
